High quality finishes and well worth the money for this magic. Power supply is 15 volts DC and levitation is a little more than 1/2", so hobbyists should be able to figure out a way to hide this into a coffee table in the middle of a room using a suitably sized battery pack and voltage regulator. Vertical performance is sketchy but does work on a perfectly steady wall surface with no metallic objects nearby. Horizontal performance is very stable and easy to center, but electronics are finnicky. Basically, it will work perfectly first try. But, if the ball slams one of the corners of the base or the user takes too long centering, the electronics will lose calibration and give up. Then you have to unplug for about 45 seconds, restore power and try again, at which point it will catch the centering first try. I recommend adding a switched extension cord. You will be power-cycling a lot.Item came in damaged and missing part had to wait very disappointed.Barely worked when I got it. Then became impossible to use at all. Now it makes all sorts of weird noises when you try to float the ball. When you contact the company they direct you to a video. That's it. Zero support. They couldn't care less.
